Music by The Blue Man

Honesty

Honesty is the debut studio album by The Blue Man, originally released in July 2024 under the name Rens Reijnders. At the beginning of 2025, he continued his musical journey under the name The Blue Man, marking a new chapter in both identity and sound.

The album Honesty explores themes of healing, growth, and self-reflection. Deeply inspired by nature, the project draws on the calming and restorative power of the natural world. The color green symbolizing life, renewal, and balance became a central influence throughout the creative process.

For The Blue Man, nature was more than just inspiration; it was a guide. A place to reconnect, to grow, and to find clarity. Honesty captures that journey an honest expression of transformation, shaped by the quiet strength of the world around us.

NOTHING MORE THAN HATE

NOTHING MORE THAN HATE is the second studio album by The Blue Man, released on March 7, 2025 just over a year after his debut, and the first full album released under his new name.

With this project, The Blue Man searched for a new sound and found it. The production leans more toward modern pop influences, while still carrying his personal emotional depth. The album explores the complexity of growing up facing internal struggles, navigating relationships, and learning how to deal with everything that comes with change.

In September 2025, he expanded the story with NOTHING MORE THAN HATE (I’ll Act Like I’m Okay DELUXE EDITION), adding 16 new tracks. This extended version dives deeper into the same period of his life, offering a fuller picture of the emotions behind the album. The cover art also shifted brighter, set in daylight reflecting the idea of appearing okay on the surface.

By April 2026, The Blue Man officially closed the NOTHING MORE THAN HATE era, just over a year after its release, to fully focus on a new chapter and the next album.

send me to therapy

send me to therapy is the lead single from The Blue Man’s upcoming project, set to release in late 2026 / early 2027. The track introduces the first glimpse into a new era both sonically and emotionally.

At its core, the song captures the feeling of never being “right” of constantly questioning yourself, even when you’ve given everything you could. It reflects the aftermath of a long and complicated friendship that eventually turned into a relationship, only to end with blame placed entirely on him. Beneath that narrative lies a deeper truth: everything he did came from a place of care, of wanting to please, and of trying to keep the other person happy.

send me to therapy is not just about heartbreak it’s about confusion, frustration, and the quiet realization of how much of yourself you gave away.

Musically, the track marks a shift in sound. Moving further into pop, with strong influences of dance pop and Nederpop, it sets the tone for what’s to come. It’s the first sound listeners hear from the new project a bold step into a brighter, more energetic sonic world, while still carrying the emotional weight that defines The Blue Man.

More of this story will unfold in the upcoming album.

ps; send me to therapy (Arlo Vane remix) is out now.
